YouTubeIf you are a watch collector like me, you may find yourselfย spending much of your spare time on YouTube watching the nerdiest watch-related videos that you can find. There are literally ย thousands of hours of content available on the free video hub. It will be impossible to drink from this self-refilling cup of knowledge, no matter how hard you try.

That is why having a handy guide to some of the best Horology and Watch Review Channels on YouTube seems like such a great idea. Granted, YouTube does a pretty good job of suggesting new videos to watch based on your preferences and viewing habits, but sometimes it can be like wandering in the wilderness without a compass. You also cannot necessarily tell if a video will be good, bad or even in your native language until you start watching. You might have to separate the wheat from the chaff to get to the best content. To jumpstart your journey, I have compiled a list of the best Horology and Watch Reviews available on YouTube. They are listed in alphabetical order to be fair. I have marked a few with aย โ™ฅ and those are my tip top-ranked YouTube Channels for Watch Reviews.ย Don’t forget to scroll all the way to the bottom for my personal top-ranked watch channel, Worn & Wound.

If you have suggestions of great channels to add to the directory, then suggest them in the comments. Just click on the descriptions below to jump directly to the channels. I will add to this list every month. Happy watching!

A Blog to Watch YouTube ChannelA Blog to Watch

Ariel Adams and the rest of the gangย at Ablogtowatch.com have been making watch content seemingly since the dawn of the internet. The oldest video is from 2009 and was published under the name “A Blog toย Read”. Dig in and enjoy a mountain of watch reviews and industry-related content! It will take a while to watch them all, so turn on the autoplay if you want to watch the videos concurrently.

Armand the Watch Guy YouTube ChannelArmand the Watch Guy

Armand the Watch guy offers long-format, deep discussions of watches often categorized into interesting groups. For instance, “the best dive watches under $500” might be a typicalย topic. His videos sometimes use static stock images of the watches so they might not be for people looking for hands-on demonstrations of watches, though he has some of those too. Regardless, Amand’s opinions are still worth hearing when you have the time to consider a watch in-depth.

Bruce Williams YouTube ChannelBruce Williams

Bruce Williams’ videos are a great source for tool watch and dive enthusiasts who like seeing hands-on demonstrations of popular watches, including rare Seikos available only in overseas markets. Bruce has a genuine approach to reviewing watches telling the good but also mentioning things that need improvement (in a diplomatic way). His videos sometimes have really creative opening scenes with the watch being reviewed.

Hodinkee YouTube ChannelHodinkeeย โ™ฅ

Hodinkee is practically a household name. Even people who do not collect watches might recognize this internet blog phenomenon by name. These guys have transcended from watch nerds on the fringe to mainstream tastemakers. Their videos include interviews with VIPs and interesting people. The vibe of these videos is rich guy casual so don’t be surprised if you see cufflinks or an ascot. Still, there is no denying that there is great content to be had on this channel. Wonderfully geeky and slightly serious.

Klein Vintage Watch - Spencer Klein YouTube ChannelKlein Vintage Watch

This is the personal video channel of Spencer Klein, a well-known expert who repairs modern and vintage Seiko watches. See a master watchmaker at work as he diagnoses client’s watches “live”. This is a rare glimpse into the mind of a watchmaker, who are usually a bit more tightlipped about their craft. There is no telling what new appreciation you’ll have for Seikos and the people who correctly service them after watching.

Long Island Watch YouTube ChannelLong Island Watch

This is the channel that speaks directly to customers of the popular Long Island Watch Company and the rest of us too. Marc discusses and demonstrates different watches available in his store. Even if you are not buying, you could do massive amounts of research for future purchases. Seiko, Orient and other affordable brands are covered. The channel also is highly educational covering way more than product questions dipping into history and horology.

Monochrome Watches YouTube ChannelMonochrome Watches

Monochrome Watches runs in the deeper end of the horological pool focusing on high-end watchmaking by independents. Behind-the-scenes and watch fair coverage is also shown. High-end interests are pursued here.

Page & Cooper YouTube ChannelPage & Cooperย โ™ฅ

These Brits are some of my favorite guys to watch. Page & Cooper is a UK-based store that has a great selection of watches and special relationships with the manufacturers like Sinn, Damasko, Hanhart, and many other high-quality brands. Watches are debuted and reviewed… and I have come away more than once wanting the buy something. Great viewing.

Random Rob YouTube ChannelRandom Rob

This popular watch reviewer has a laidback style and a taste for a variety of watches including Swiss and Japanese. From G-Shocks to Seikos and some Swiss brands… Rob is certainly random. Spin the wheel and give any one of his videos a try. I don’t think you can miss.

Take Time, with Patrick Marlett YouTube ChannelTake Time, w/Patrick Marlettย โ™ฅ

Patrick has a knack for reviewing and demonstrating products surrounding watches such as watch bands. Even some manufacturers refer to his videos to demonstrate their products. That’s saying something. This channel has watch reviews, accessory reviews, modding videos, and interviews. Patrick is an excellent host and does not waste time on fluff. I have personally made or not made purchases based on his opinions. He’s the accessory review master!

Time+Tide YouTube ChannelTide+Time

These Aussies like to have fun while discussing watches. I like the hints of humor and mild sarcasm strewn throughout the videos. These guys prove you don’t have to be stuffy to be serious about watches. The YouTube Channel is a companion piece to the articles found atย https://timeandtidewatches.com.

The Time Teller YouTube ChannelThe Time Teller with Jory Goodman

This bearded wonder has amassed quite a following in a very short period of time. His charming personality and interesting opinions make this a fun one to watch. You cannot help but like him. He reviews everything from low-end Seikos to high-end rarities and big name brands. He wears a fuzzy mic too! Visit Jory to hear him say “Let’s get down to business!”

The Watches TV Youtube ChannelThe Watches TVย โ™ฅ

Television-style coverage of high-end luxury brands and related events are handled by supremely competent online personalities like Marc Andre Deschoux. These videos can range from watch porn to technical explanations of how complex watches work. Interviews with the players of the industry give you access to the ones “in the know”.

The Urban Gentry YouTube ChannelThe Urban Gentry

This guy must be doing something right with the number of viewers he has. There are over 210,000 subscribers at the time of this writing. The host is a dynamic British chap by the name of TGV a.k.a “the governor” and has been producing content since 2014. The videos are inclusive of affordable to luxury watches. The channel was originally made to cover lifestyle subjects, but watch-related content soon took over. Great coverage of current watches.

Watchbox Reviews YouTube ChannelWatch Reviews with Tim Massoย โ™ฅ

I’m a big fan of Tim Masso and his smooth delivery of accurate, and fact-filledย luxury watch reviews. This guy can fill more specific detail into one sentence and get it spot on. Part demonstration, part sales presentation… Tim is not to be missed, especially if you are interested in one of the watches sold in his store at WatchBox.com (formerly known asย WatchYouWant.com).
