“Do what inspires you.”
Can anything in this life be truer? I know that there are things we have to do like pay taxes and take out the trash, but I rarely meet a person who is compelled by these things and can spend several hours a day talking about it.
For me, I am inspired by many things that magically weave themselves together into the vast landscape of collecting watches including inventors, history, tradition, technology, design, fashion, finances, marketing, and even loftier concepts like the meaning of time.
Supposedly Albert Einstein said, “The only reason for time is so that everything doesn’t happen at once.” I intend to take his advice as I explore many of horological themes in future posts. So, until the next blog, thanks for joining me. Feel free to join the discussion at any time.
